Day One

Wow, its the first day and we have already had so much fun!last night was crazy with last minute packing, but i'm pretty sure that i remembered every thing. and thin this morning mama, dad, and Anna got up with us to see us off. the goodbyes were short and sweat but we all knew we wold miss each other.

We left Rincon at about 7:30. we are splitting up the driving and pops started off this morning up to the Statesboro exit, where i got behind the wheel for a few hours to a Dublin rest stop. then Grandma drove us to Columbus which is where my mom grew up. On the way there we stoped at this old barn where there is an old truck that pops has been admiring for years to take a couple of pictures. We ate at Country's BBQ, which was great! When ever we are in Columbus we eat there, and every time it is delicious! But they didn't have any goober pie which is what they are famous for.

from there we drove to Tuskeegee, Al, and visited Moton Air Field {this is where the Tuskeegee Air Men trained} . From there we pretty much drove all the way to Mobile. we are staying at the Fairfield Inn, which is nice. After dropping off our bags we went to Macaroni Grill and had a great dinner. And now its time to sleep, check in tomorrow for more updates.
